Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I wanted to leave a detailed review because I couldnt find a detailed review when I decided to purchase these columns.. Mia. Redford, MI. Fri Jan 20 2023

Niches have been used in homes for almost 2000 years, first made of white marble in Nero's home. Most niches are still white, and for many years were mostly made of plaster. Now that many modern architectural products are made of urethane, custom millwork and details such as recessed niches have become affordable for any home improvement project. Niches are distinctive architectural accents. Often used to display sculptures, vases, clocks, plants and flowers, niches are beautiful and functional details that add value to any home interior. They are often used in main hallways, dining rooms, foyers, and staircases. An important aspect of a niche is its ability to concentrate or disperse light, so its placement should be based on the availability of light, either sunlight or interior lighting fixtures. Ceiling accent lights are often added as a compliment above a niche. Niches made of urethane can be easy to install for anyone, simply cut a hole in the drywall and place the niche inside. These niches will also require little maintenance in the future, and offer beauty and value to your home for decades to come. Ekena Millwork offers niches in varying heights, widths, and depths to fit the scale of your home.

Our appliques and Onlays are the perfect accent pieces for cabinetry, furniture, fireplace mantels, ceilings, and more. Each pattern is carefully crafted after traditional and historical designs. Each polyurethane piece is easily installed, just like wood pieces, with simple glues and finish nails. Another benefit of polyurethane is it will not rot crack, or warp. It comes to your factory primed and ready for your paint, faux finish, gel stain, marbleizing, and more.

Urethane crown moulding has become an increasingly popular choice for homeowners and builders alike due to its myriad benefits. Unlike wood, which can warp, crack, or rot over time, urethane is highly resistant to moisture and temperature changes. This makes it an ideal choice for areas prone to humidity or extreme weather conditions. Whether it’s installed in a bathroom, kitchen, or basement, urethane crown moulding maintains its shape and integrity, ensuring a long-lasting and reliable finish. Another notable advantage is its lightweight nature. Its lightweight characteristic simplifies handling and installation, making urethane crown moulding a popular choice for DIY projects and professional installations alike.
