Easy to work with, process is a bit tedious and time Consuming due to prep work and finishing details. We chose to attach to the wall using a brad nailer instead of glue to avoid wall damage if neededwant to remove in the future. So we had to caulk the seams as well as the nail holes, then sand, and we finishes it with two coats of our wall color in a glossier finish. We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. They are nicely proportioned....not too tall and not too deep. Easy to attach to the wall with 1x1 firring strips. Easy to paint to match trim. I ordered this set for a wall and it was a bit different than expected! In the pictures it looks thinner and more delicate, but it’s a chunky thick chair molding. It’s also lightweight and foam. Great Quality and Perfect for Hard-to-Find Window Sizes I bought these shutters for one of our smaller windows and had a hard time finding the correct size through other websites and big box stores. I initially purchased these to be cut into baseboards for my cabinets but that was definitely a no go. The material is foam like, since I still liked it I decided to do something different with it. I had an empty wall that I had my friend nail gun them in. I used a one inch book as a separator measurement. I still have to paint them, will do same a baseboard color to blend into the wall but will these add a lot of texture to the wall.
