Spectacular! I added this to the master bedroom because with a trey ceiling, it seemed to plain to just hang a light in the middle of the upper tier. This added such great detail and focuses the eye to that. I plan to put up the hanging crystal light I purchased on Wayfair at this medallion. It arrived safe and was well-packaged. It was easy to put up- use silicone to help adhere it and 18g finish nails at an angle in the corners and at the center. Caulk the edge to the ceiling and paint it. I sprayed it flat along with the ceiling to see what it looked like, but repainting just the medallion in a satin finish (same color as ceiling) helps the details pop more. We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that some of the edges are a bit rough and will need a little sanding before installation. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the purchase.. Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment.
