We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. These are great - well worth the price. I thought about just going to the hardware store to get them and cut them but this saved time, hassle, and they are precise. I had a hard time getting 1 coat of paint to stick, though, so plan on 2 coats.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 23 2026
