Great detail and product for bathroom crown. Katherine. Westport, CT. Sun Apr 26 2026

The ceiling tile collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. The artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created Ekena Millwork use the high density urethane foam to form each tile. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster tiles is achieved only by using the high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type tiles.

This was perfect for our bathroom remodel when the exhaust fan opening for the old fan was a different shape (rectangular) than the new square one. It finishes it off/frames it nicely.. Kara. Woodbine, NJ. Fri Nov 10 2023

Niches have been used in homes for almost 2000 years, first made of white marble in Nero's home. Most niches are still white, and for many years were mostly made of plaster. Now that many modern architectural products are made of urethane, custom millwork and details such as recessed niches have become affordable for any home improvement project. Niches are distinctive architectural accents. Often used to display sculptures, vases, clocks, plants and flowers, niches are beautiful and functional details that add value to any home interior. They are often used in main hallways, dining rooms, foyers, and staircases. An important aspect of a niche is its ability to concentrate or disperse light, so its placement should be based on the availability of light, either sunlight or interior lighting fixtures. Ceiling accent lights are often added as a compliment above a niche. Niches made of urethane can be easy to install for anyone, simply cut a hole in the drywall and place the niche inside. These niches will also require little maintenance in the future, and offer beauty and value to your home for decades to come. Ekena Millwork offers niches in varying heights, widths, and depths to fit the scale of your home.

I bought the grapes and steam applied them to curved columns in my living room. They have held up great to a very high traffic area. I have been trying to find the company again to order more products because I used many of the different products in several areas of my home 20 years ago. They withstood so much and still look new. I cant wait to do more projects. Buy any of them, you wont be dissatisfied.. Dorothy S. Thu Oct 31 2024

Spectacular! I added this to the master bedroom because with a trey ceiling, it seemed to plain to just hang a light in the middle of the upper tier. This added such great detail and focuses the eye to that. I plan to put up the hanging crystal light I purchased on Wayfair at this medallion. It arrived safe and was well-packaged. It was easy to put up- use silicone to help adhere it and 18g finish nails at an angle in the corners and at the center. Caulk the edge to the ceiling and paint it. I sprayed it flat along with the ceiling to see what it looked like, but repainting just the medallion in a satin finish (same color as ceiling) helps the details pop more. I could not be happier with this piece!. Tracy. Spartanburg, SC. Wed Aug 12 2026

The square post, a timeless style is in expanded cellular PVC for quick, easy assembly and virtually maintenance-free! Classic craftsman series posts are not prone to the same environmental damage as real wood, such as splitting or cracking. Their E-Z lock joints will not separate due to disproportionate changes in panel dimensions. When 2 coats of acrylic latex paint are applied, Classic craftsman series posts will deliver years of service as promised against rot, corrosion, and moisture damage.
