Absolutely love this paneling! It was exactly what we were looking for! We haven't put all the paneling up yet but it looks amazing! The great thing is because it's PVC scratches come right off. Definitely worth the extra money! Help hint, goo gone works best on this product to get it clean.. Christina. Mount Prospect, IL. Sat Jul 18 2020

The ceiling tile collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. The artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created Ekena Millwork use the high density urethane foam to form each tile. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster tiles is achieved only by using the high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type tiles.

The end result was remarkable! Keep in mind that you need a PVC cutter to size the pieces to fit your wall, also the pieces that you order are the exact amount that you get, not the number of boxes. In other words, if you order a quantity of 4 you will get 4 circles and 4 crosses. This project was quite costly.. Lashawna. Nyc. Tue Jan 25 2022

nicely made polystyrene pieces which are well designed, but require an expert carpenter for a quality installation due to slight variations from piece to piece, injected molded from similar but not identical molds. Per my carpenter, these were convenient, but required a tremendous of finesse and adjustments at every miter joint to look right. Quality glue (PL Premium) and a solid substrate that will not move (a grid of 1x3's glued and screwed to ceiling joists) are essential for stability. Overall "a wash" in terms of time and expense compared to having full boxes and mouldings constructed the old fashioned way. For the curved bay windows straight pieces needed to be hollowed out, bent, and carefully glued and tacked in place under high tension. Happy with the results but did not save time or expense compared to old fashioned box beam and molding construction.. Paul. MA. Thu May 26 2022
