Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. I have searched for quite some time to find a ceiling medallion for my walk-in closet chandelier. Most ceiling medallions sold online are flimsy hollow plastic but this one is solid wood and is absolutely beautiful! Of course I wanted a solid plaster medallion, but those are very expensive and typically purchased from a lighting company, but this one will definitely fit the bill since it was prefinished and all we have to do is put adhesive on it and put it on the ceiling. The medallion is a nice add-on to the light fixtures. I used Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint, very easy and very fast!
