We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. Also, VERY important to know, in very fine print, it says that they are not returnable - even though on the same page on the website, in large capital letters, that all orders from Wayfair can be returned within 30 days.
