Great Quality and Perfect for Hard-to-Find Window Sizes I bought these shutters for one of our smaller windows and had a hard time finding the correct size through other websites and big box stores. Some raised panel vinyl shutters can feel flimsy and may crack during installation, but these are surprisingly rigid while still being lightweight and easy to handle. We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. I ordered this set for a wall and it was a bit different than expected! In the pictures it looks thinner and more delicate, but it’s a chunky thick chair molding. It’s also lightweight and foam. The gable ventilator commonly requires no carpentry, as it is mounted on the interior of the wall behind the gable, however, electrical installation is required.
