We are very happy with this light. Simple and sleek. It is enough brightness and with the light shining up and down, it seems to not cast any shadows. Really warms the room up great. Connected to a dimmer switch and it’s even better. The metal feels good and the color is great. Only complaint was the install. A little painful to align all the wires and get it level. What a great product! Lightweight and easy to cut with a fine blade in a miter saw. No chipping of finish when cutting. Installed a 13 x 13 room in under 3 hours with two people. Used the standard adhesive (blue tube) to secure it to a painted ceiling. Paint was sanded prior to installation. This fixture is great! The perfect size and incredibly bright. I installed it by myself, which is always a bit challenging just in terms of holding everything up while attaching wires and screwing things back together, but a couple of notes 1. The cables that adjust the height are VERY long- if you plan on using them somewhere where they need to be much shorter (like in my case) you will need to cut them which involves cutting 2 cables and 3 electric wires which you will then need to strip, splice and tape thoroughly back together. 2. The “color” adjuster is inside the fixture, so you really can’t adjust it easily- I thought I had this turned all the way to warm, but it doesn’t look like it.
