This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle. This is a nice compact dehumidifier. It's sturdy and heavy but doesn't take up too much space. The wheels and handle are great for mobility. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is in operation. For a commercial dehumidifier, the sound is very low. I don't have the ability to fully comment on it's effectiveness yet but can say that the reading changed rather quickly with a short test try. This dehumidifier works great! I recently had a foundation leak in my bedroom and I got this to try and make sure that mold didn’t grow. I couldn’t believe how much moisture was in my room. I was emptying the collection bucket every couple of days at first. It only needs to be emptied once a week now. There is option to hook this machine up to automatically drain but I really wanted to see the amounts of water it was eliminating.
