For the price of this furniture, I expect better quality. I still have two chairs to put together, and I am seriously dreading it. I'll find the right drill bit and try that. Each piece of ceramic furniture is born from clay, hand-dug from Thailand’s central provinces. Handmade plaster of Paris molds shape each piece as it air-cures into greenware. After a first firing, crystalline glazes are applied. Glazes are closely guarded recipes, with natural ingredients and no heavy metals. Gas-fired kilns ensure an intense, consistent heat that brings glazes to jewel-like color saturation. Expect small color, glaze, and surface variations. These are normal in handcrafted ceramics, adding character and guaranteeing the uniqueness of each piece.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. Expensive, but completely worth the cost. To have a piece like this custom-made would have been at least as much, and would take longer. I have other pieces in this collection from Copeland. Made from solid cherry with black walnut drawer pulls and beautifully finished, it is exceptional. Was supposed to be delivered in August but it arrived in July. Very pleased about that, along with the communication from Wayfair. The delivery was spot on--the 2 guys were nice as could be and were right on time. They handled the box carefully, and even carried it back to the bedroom rather than leaving it inside the front door. We had a nice chat and tipped them well! The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. I bought both the 7 drawer and the 4 drawer dressers from this set and the 7 drawer dresser was much easier to assemble. This is absolutely adorable , but also seeming as this is very tiny. its very short, but adorable for a toddler. my only issue is it does not have the safety drawers, so you can open every single drawer .even though it is a very heavy piece, you still always have cautious of tipping !!.
