This is a beautiful tile. I shopped for a glossy white ceiling tile and comparable tiles were $1-$2 more per square foot. This is a flat tile and does NOT have a beveled edge. I placed mine directly over the cheaper acoustical tiles and they look great. I rated them 4 stars because of the packaging. They were delivered piled on a pallet and wrapped with clear plastic with the result being scratched tiles. I'm probably the only person that notices the scratches but when you are paying $2.99 per square foot you want a perfect tile. This is the galvanized steel color 2 x 4 ft. Great alternative to metal wall paneling. Cutting it was very easy. Attached to stucco with liquid nails, lots of it. These are great. There is a learning curve to putting them up. But I put them up by myself. I used a quick grab adhesive in dime sized dollops. Then used a paint roller to help hold them into place. It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. First order was sent to me wrong color and wrong pattern but wayfair got in touch with the manufacturer and the right order was quickly shipped out. I’m very happy with it. The white color is true white. It’s straight not warped, easy to install. If you have the grid system you just pop it in, if not I use glue for my laundry room ceiling because it’s easily removed in case I have another leak. These ceiling tiles are a little difficult to put up, however, we accomplished the goal. They are light weight and easy to handle, but you will need two people to hang them. Be sure to apply glue to all parts of the tile (particularly on the back of the little squares) except the center flat space because it will get a "lumpy" appearing texture. Looks awesome! Easy to glue up with Loctite Power Grab HD adhesive (not the clear one) after I scuffed the paint with some 160 grit sandpaper. I overlapped the flat edges and used some panel nails at each corner, since you have four that overlap, if you do it that way. A little trim mounding around the edges finished it off nicely.. Tony.
