The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. I ordered this in white to match a baker’s rack that I also ordered from Wayfair, and I’m very happy with it. I have an outdated kitchen with minuscule space for kitchen prep, and while the island top isn’t as big as I’d like it to be, it definitely adds some much-needed prep space, along with a ton of storage, including drawers and cabinets. It’s incredibly heavy, sturdy and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the silver hardware, so I did switch out the knobs snd pulls to better match the hardware in the rest of my kitchen.
