Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. Have not installed them yet but do like the design of these lights. They trim around the light is crisp white. There is a small gasket that will help make sure the light is sealed so no air gap. The light is thin and the springs on the side seem heavy duty. The junction box itself is metal not plastic like some others. They state they are insulation safe which is for a remodeling. We had a lighting challenge bc the pendant lights in my space obstructed the view into the greater space of the house. It’s a more industrial type modern farmhouse and this light was perfect. Reduced the ceiling acne in the room and works like a charm. The wider profile makes it more of an art piece than a nipple light we grew up with and I wasn’t interested in fluorescent lights.
