This is a very effective and attractive fan. Very good lighting and air flow is great. I chose the wall mount control over the remote control due to the potential of the remote getting lost. Also the wall mount control is wired for the fan motor and remote control receiver that is mounted inside the fan housing. This wall control requires two AAA batteries that will need attention later on. I prefer the hard wired controller that is still found on other Hunter fans. Otherwise I recommend this fan.. This fan looks fantastic! My husband installed it - a few issues with getting the light level, so that the blades did not rub the light - but nothing he couldn't handle.
