The lamp is beautiful and very nice quality. The base is heavy, sturdy, and came with no chips. The shade also came packaged separately to ensure nothing got bent which I appreciated for the price. My only issue is that the shade is so bright white, it looks more lilac/blue-tinged. This lamp is very cute and looks handmade. I like the push switch on the cord and bought two type G 40 watt bulbs to go inside. The circular top isn’t painted and I like the brass colored elements although I’m worried it’ll break easily if it gets knocked over. This is probably the best purchase I've made from Wayfair, and I've made a lot. Even my husband loves it. The lamp is very well made, heavy and truly a quality piece. The shade has a high gloss, which I wasn't expecting but I've come to like it. When turned off, it's a deep blue, when lit a soft purple. This is s striking lamp. Well made for the price. The red dragonflies stand out a bit more brightly then anticipated. But never the less, a keeper. I might use a lower wattage to tone the red down.
