Expensive but I got exactly what I was hoping for -- a relatively quiet unit that quickly heats the room. I purchased the satin nickel unit and configured it to run on the 240 volt/1750 watt setting, it works perfectly. It's used to supplement our main furnace to heat the entertainment room in our basement. The room is approximately 300 sq ft and with its two-stage heating it brings the temps up nicely in short order.
