This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. I love this light. It recesses nicely into the ceiling, dims well without any flickering. Lighting temperature is adjustable, however the fixture must be removed to change. Harmon Karson sound is pretty good coming from a small water proof speaker. Definitely good enough for the shower. Our pre-teen children are less impressed with the flow of water, which is not adjustable.
