These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. As a child one of the pleasures we had was having the chance to sit in our grandparents rocking chairs on the front porch watching the children, neighbors pass by the have and giving a friendly wave to passerby’s.
