This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal. This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. We haven’t fully installed this range hood insert yet, but first impressions are excellent. The build quality feels solid and well-made, with a sleek, modern look that fits nicely with our kitchen design. The controls are intuitive and the lighting is a great added touch. We did a quick test run before installation, and it’s impressively quiet—much quieter than expected for the amount of airflow it produces. It seems like it will do a great job ventilating while still keeping noise to a minimum, which was a big priority for us. Overall, very happy so far and excited to get it fully installed and in use. The only thing that should be addressed is in the set-up of the CO2 gauages and connections. That section of the manual could use a little more clarity.
