I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. And I'm quite annoyed that after it finishes, the light turns off and there is no indication that the wash completed successfully. Yes, I know I can check the app to confirm, but this is annoying to have to reach for my phone when my previous dishwasher simply had an LED that stayed lit to confirm the wash completed properly. Every day I use the dishwasher I'm reminded that Bosch would somehow rather save a tiny tiny amount of energy to shut the dishwasher totally off than leave a little LED lit to confirm that the wash completed. I have kids, and they need to know whether the dishes in the dishwasher are clean or dirty. Without this signal, it makes this harder than it should be. I'm all for saving energy and saving the planet, but not having a "successful completion LED" was a bad engineering decision. Next time, I will be more careful to buy a dishwasher with that feature.. I've had my new washer for two weeks now, and so far it has been working great , clothes comes out very clean. I originally wanted the model without the fancy control knob, but it wasn't available, so I ended up getting this one. My only concern is longevity. With all the added technology and electronics, I wonder how well it will hold up over time. I'm a bit old-school and tend to prefer simpler machines with durable, long-lasting mechanical components rather than a lot of high-tech features. Overall, though, I'm very happy with it so far..
