They work and we have had them up now 3 years come this March. They do not scratch easily infact they have not scratched at all, as a different brand has. The only thing I wish is that they offered better plastic drywall mounts for securing the center portionsecuring the rods because the drapes I have are thick and heavier so it sagged in the middle of my curtain rod pulling from the wall over a short period of time. I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in.
