I wake up without the usual stiffness or soreness, which is a huge plus. The pocket coils make a noticeable difference. Each coil responds individually, so there’s minimal motion transfer and the mattress contours nicely to the body without feeling too soft or saggy. The pressure relief is especially good around the shoulders and hips, making it great for side sleepers but still supportive for back sleepers too. Even though it’s only 10 inches thick, it feels solid and well-built. It expands quickly after unboxing, and there was very little odor. I think this is a terrific mattress for the price. It looks and feels well-made and it's very comfortable, supportive, and soft to the touch. It was easy to slice open the plastic wrapping it came in without fear of touching the mattress with a sharp edge because a special little tool is provided to do exactly that. And it was fairly easy to maneuver it around by myself to get it centered on the bed slats. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design.
