I absolutely love this dish. The color is phenomenal. It is big enough to hold my lasagna. The lasagna dish I had was metal and the coloring would scrape up into the lasagna. This does not do that. These are very pretty plates. They arrived packaged extremely well. I really like the lip around the plate in theory, but the squareish shape of it makes it difficult to grab off a stack of dishes. I store them standing up so no worries. I took off one star because I didn't think the description made it clear there was a brown rim on the bottom.
