The distressed beams will not be a solid color. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. You will need to purchase 3" screws for the application you will be attaching the bracket. Corbels will increase the total height of the beam to 13". The corbels have been pre-drilled and include screws. You will need to attach the corbels to the beam upon receipt. Wood is considered a combustible material. Heat clearances must be adhered to. Strong, thick mantle type floating shelf. Took me a minute to figure out that I had to unscrew the anchor from inside the shelf before accessing the directions and other hardware. I almost called to get replacement hardware but heard something clinging as I shook it to see if something would fall out. I wish the directions had been out the outside. Since I got the 60" and my arm.span is short, I did bribe my husband to help me put it up. And by help, I mean do it himself. The finish is not solid which made me like it even more. It arrived nicely packed, but I took one star away as it did not come with the 2 inch wood screws needed to do its install! It also did not come with instructions for installation. This meant searching online for instructions and having to go get the screws needed for the install.
