Very handsome bedbench but a lot smaller than what I was expecting. The stock photo is of a beagle and I dont think this is large enough to accommodate a beagle. I think the only dogs that could sleep comfortably in a bed this size would be Chihuahua maybe a Dachshund or a toy breed. My smallest dog is too large for this bed. June 9, 2026 update: it's absolutely not leather but it is wearing fine. I took the made-to-be-removed inserts out, threw it in the bathtub with laundry soap and washed the soft inside fabric and it took vigorous scrubbing very well. Still recommend this seat.
