I just received four of these Adirondack chairs, and I couldn’t be more excited—my patio just got a serious upgrade. Assembly was surprisingly doable the first chair took me a bit (okay, a while), but by the fourth one I was basically running my own chair-building operation. Everything was clearly labeled, and there wasn’t much room for error, which I definitely appreciated. These chairs are solid—very sturdy—and they look fantastic. For reference, I’m a 58-year-old woman, 5’6”, about 160 lbs, and I was able to handle the assembly and setup myself. The boxes are on the heavier side (over 33 pounds), but manageable if you take your time (and maybe give yourself a little pep talk first). One of my favorite features is that they fold up for storage—practical and good-looking is a win in my book. I also scored free shipping through Wayfair and earned rewards as a member, which made the whole experience even better. The set is great. Comfy. Good Looking. Fairly light weight. Seems like the Polywood will be very durable. Easy to put together. Each of the back pieces has 4 holes for screws, 2 on the bottom and 2 midway up. One complaint - one of the back pieces had a production defect. It had holes drilled on the top instead of the bottom. And there is only one way it can sit, so you could not flip it. So this piece only has screws screwed in on the bottom. One of the photos is the defect and one of the photos is correct. The Edge-O-Dock leveler permanently attaches to face of dock. It is recommended for docks to be at least forty-eight (48) inches high. When the trailer departs, the lip drops automatically behind the face of the bumpers. Concrete recess is not required. It comes complete with bumpers and installation instructions. Standard Ramping is twenty-nine (29) inches, with a thirty-six (36-5/8) inch long ramping length available for smaller grade. A steel dock edge, or approach ramp is required for proper installation. The Mechanical Edge-O-Dock is operated by placing the actuation handle into the pocket of the inner lip and pulling down toward the floor. The operator then pushes the handle forward until the lip rests on the truck bed. As the trailer departs, the lip retracts behind the bumper face automatically.
