Worst dryer I have ever owned and the washer that goes with it is even worse than the dryer. Nothing is ever completely dry after the first cycle AND the clothes come out VERY wrinkled. I love this tower! Moved laundry to the first floor from the basement in a 100yo home. They nicely fit into a closet and are quiet and very efficient. Only 2 tbs of detergent needed, if you use too much you’ll get a notification for the app. Oh that’s great too, the app also alerts you when the washer and dryer are done or if there are any problems. Make sure they are properly installed, the dryer needs to have drainage. The guy who installed mine hadn’t installed an electric heat pump dryer yet and didn’t realize which led to a build up of water in the washer pan and the clothes would be damp. Washer works well. It is reasonably quiet and has low vibration levels. Overall capacity is good, especially compared to our previous 20+ year-old washer. This is considered a high-efficiency washer, so you have to get used to the lesser amount of water it uses compared to older machines. The primary negative is the fabric softener dispenser clogs with the softener residue quite frequently. We have to remove and clean the dispenser tray after every 10 loads or so. I recently purchased the LG Probake Convection, Air Fry, InstaView Selfclean, EasyClean and Snart, Stainless, Freestanding Electric Range, and it’s been a great upgrade. The InstaView is one of my favourite features being able to check on food without opening the oven is perfect for baking and helps keep the temperature steady. The ProBake Convection cooks faster and more evenly, which I noticed right away. I enjoy cooking with the cooktop. It’s heats up quickly, and distributes heat well, and the smooth glass surface is easy to clean. The different element size are really practical depending on what you are cooking. The built in Air Fry is a nice bonus, and I like that it alerts you if the oven door is left open. Small details, but really helpful. My family appreciates the Wifi connectivity. Being able to preheat the oven remotely through the app is a level of convenience I didn’t realize I needed until now. It helps, especially on busy days.
