Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. Absolutely in love with this sink! We get tons of complaints on it too. Decided to go with above mount for two reasons, one to avoid having a splash effect from the faucet being so tall and two to show off the edge detail of the sink. I like both under and above mounted sinks but I felt for my kitchen I wanted the sink to be the focal point and have that wow factor.
