A Convenient and Healthy Choice for Better Hydration Recently, a close friend of mine, who is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctor, suggested I start drinking tepid water, especially in the morning, to improve my health. According to TCM, tepid water has many benefits: it supports digestion, relieves stress, improves blood circulation, soothes sore throats, aids detoxification, eases menstrual cramps, boosts metabolism, and even promotes healthier skin. Inspired by this advice, I decided to adjust my family’s drinking habits. We used to mostly drink room-temperature or cold water—my kids, in particular, always preferred cold drinks. At first, I tried using a regular kettle with our under-sink RO water filter. While the RO water is clean and pure, it doesn’t contain minerals, and the process was honestly a bit of a hassle. Glass cooktops use a thermal limiter switch to protect against overheating by shutting down power to the element should it become too hot. When the limiter on these elements fails it will usually totally prevent the element from heating and the element needs to be replaced. If this is happening to your glass cooktop, the dual radiant heat element is an exact replacement for the Electrolux part with the same number.

The grates feel substantial without being overly tall, and the continuous stainless‑steel surface makes cleaning incredibly easy since the burners are fully enclosed. In terms of performance, I tend to rely on the higher‑BTU burners. They heat quickly and work well for most of my cooking. The lower‑BTU burners, however, take noticeably longer, so I don’t find myself using them often. One small inconvenience is that I have to push down the knobs twice to ignite the flame, which isn’t a deal‑breaker but is worth noting. Is your electric range's cooktop surface element not performing like it used to? For example, does the element remain cool? Are the contacts on the surface element worn out or blackened? Or is there is rust or corrosion on the coils? Then you may need to replace the surface element itself. The product supplies the heat to a cooking area on top of the electric range. This element has temperature-limiting capabilities to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. The number one reason for household fires is cooking-related, so retrofitting with this safety surface element makes sense on a lot of levels. Us regulations require all new coil top ranges to have temperature limiting capabilities. This retrofit replacement element has a silver medallion with a button (sensor) in the center of the coil.
