1. Ebeling 72” vanity should have been sold with a backsplash. I did not know how necessary a backsplash was until our Contractor installed the two faucets we ordered through Wayfair. Both faucets unfortunately leak at the base and I was worried about the water leaking on that newly painted back wall since there was no backsplash. I called Wayfair and they informed me that you had a matching backsplash which I ordered. Unfortunately I have had to call the Contractor back next Monday to come and CUT the length of the white Quartz backsplash to fit the Ebeling 72” vanity, which has a rounded edge at each end and the backsplash needs to end before that edging. I am very happy with the design of the Ebeling Vanity, but the drawers are very cheaply made and don’t smoothly slide out or in. The construction of the bottom of the tap where it fits into the vanity are defective as when the taps are turned on, there is leakage at that base.. I like knowing that there is not a lot of maintenance for my tub. If I wanted a lot of maintenance I would have gotten a hot tub. Acrylic tubs are light, but often do not retain heat well, this one happens to have an insulation option. Bingo! I wanted an air tub with white drain hardware, those were options here too. I wanted a sleek modern aesthetic with room for two, this unit fit the bill. I needed adjustable feet so that I could get water to flow underneath the tub in a wet room, that was another yes here. I had a really specific wish list, and this thing met it all! We're still in the middle of install, but the quality of this unit appears very promising. With up to one-inch adjustment, it is the perfect enclosure for all Do-It-Yourself installers. Hinge wall must be reinforced with a stud pocket where hinges are to be mounted. It is required to have support behind the tile and green board with wood to secure the door panel’s weight adequately. All measurements should be taken only after walls are finished (tile, back walls, etc.). The Scottsdale features a single acting door with polycarbonate strike jamb and a positive magnetic strike connection which will only allow the door to open outward. As with all frameless European style shower enclosures there is a possibility of leaking to the outside of the door, which is normal for these units. The door must be hinged off of a wall, hinging off the glass is not possible with this unit.
