Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I've purchased Nostalgic Warehouse before and I Iike the look and quality. I've not yet installed the deadbolt as I'm mid renovation and doors haven't been installed yet. My hardware from upstairs renovation is holding up and I'm glad I spend the extra money. It's one of those touches that doesn't cry out to look at it but rather blends in and completes the room. I put them on 5 panel craftsman doors. UPDATE, Wayfair info about they being re-sizable isn't true. the cylinder was locked/broken and Nostalgic sent me a new one as well as part to make the deadbolt work for 3/4 sizing. Be careful, if you buy 3/4 handles, you need 3/4 deadbolt or it won't be as secure. Nostalgic was great to work with. Didn't question, didn't make me repackage the defective part and send back which made me happy. Nothing worse than getting a defective part then having to send it back to get a replacement.. Karen. I am a contractor. Your 48 hour time window to check products does not work. We have to order building products weeks to months before a project starts. I cannot unbox a large finish product such as a vanity, shower pan, sink until it gets closer to the installation date because we have to move it from our offices to the jobsite. Larger items need to be in the boxes to help us move them to the jobsite. Once there we can inspect them. I lost $150 due to this policy.
