This is a great upgrade to my old ice maker that finally kicked the bucket. It keeps the ice flowing at a reasonable rate that you never feel low on ice at any given time. It does take a few minutes to figure its life out when you first plug in and add water, so make sure you’re patient. But once it goes it’s perfect. Love this ice maker. The spheres are really cool and there aren’t distorted - they’re true sphere shapes. The only downside to this ice maker is that it only makes 15 spheres per day, so you aren’t getting as much ice as you would with a nugget ice maker. I like my ice maker that makes nugget-ice. Two bottles of water makes about half gal. of ice. I keep it in my freezer untill needed. The nugget size ice is very easy to handle when putting in glasses. Was more than what I wanted to pay, but it works very well and hope it last for a long while.
