This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal. Came packaged nicely. No real set up just removing some packaging, there was yellow tape with written instructions over these so not hard to know what to do. Quick start instructions, cleaning and extra supplies all included. I am not using it for essential oils but instructions said not to add to the water. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty.
