I got this range hood for my casita. And it was the perfect size, it arrived quickly and was easy to put together. I like that it has two options a ducted version and a ductless one if you don’t want to make a hole in your wall. A thing to note is it doesn’t come with all the necessary items to install perfectly. It was missing the charcoal filter that goes inside the range hood (it makes you purchase separate) so that’s why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that it’s exactly as described.. Yulitza. So far its great! We have had it installed (husband did it with his friend) for about 1 month. It is fairly quiet but really powerful on the highest level. Ive noticed. I haven't even had to use the highest level yet. The light is super bright. I wish there was more than one level to the light though. It was fairly easy and straightforward to unstall. The problem we had was our vent hole was smaller than the stencil overlay so we didnt know what to do initially. We figured it out, had to cut the hole! It worked out. So far we are very happy with it. We have open concept kitchen and smells do not float upstairs anymore! That was my major qualm with the over ranger microwave hood. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet.
