The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. Love this bed! It was super easy to assemble. The side rails had hooks that slid into the head and foot boards, versus some cheaper quality beds that just use cam locks. Love that! The bed is sturdy, and looks as pictured. It was delivered in a few pieces and required assembly on site, but it wasn’t so bad. That said, the manufacturer assembly instructions were sparse and the side boards were a different part number than the slats were intended to pair with, so we had to modify some of the assembly which was a little frustrating.
