Step by step directions were fairly easy although I did place a couple things on initially wrong (ice maker, and top with clock) which were easily fixable. Was worried I was getting close to stripping the heads off the screws that held in the ice maker but it worked out. Most difficult part was honestly the 3 knobs that get screwed on to the cardboard backdrop above the stove. It took me a bit longer than 2 hrs. More like 3 by myself but I did take a couple of breaks. Overall seems very sturdy and came together nicely. It’s a really cute set with nice wood pieces. One issue was the fact that the screw holes for the left door lost traction for the screws. They kept coming loose which just made me decide to just leave the door off. Also, the sink fixtures were loose even with the screws in tightly. I think they’ll hold just fine though. We are so happy with this playhouse! Our daughter is 2 (almost 2.5) and has been absolutely obsessed with it since the day we set it up. The pizza oven and grill are such cute features and honestly what sold us — she loves “cooking” for everyone and serving little pizzas all day long. The working doorbell was also such a fun surprise and adds a really interactive touch that keeps her entertained. There are so many little details that make it feel extra special without being overwhelming. It took a few hours to setup but was overall fairly easy.
