UPDATE: August 24th 2026: The tarp was damaged due to heavy rain and I tried for two weeks to work with this company, the manufacturer, and the insurance with no appropriate resolution. This incident made me aware of how scamish and fraudulent these insurance companies are. The representatives were rude and in the end just refunded me for the policy - horrible service! Wayfair kept rerouting me to the insurance without seeming to understand what I was trying to explain. It was pretty easy to assemble by myself. I had to have help lifting the roof to put on the lower part of the legs. It seems pretty sturdy, and was easy enough to install on the slightly uneven ground. I like the cords that batten it down, so that the wind wont blow it over. Wish I could give zero stars. We bought two of these for my daughters wedding. We set them up before the rehearsal dinner and while we were gone it rained a little—not heavy, just a little summer rain. By the time we got home, they had both collapsed. The tents are just held together by these flimsy plastic connectors and they are just too weak to hold the tent up. Wayfair tried to make us go through the manufacturer instead of giving us a refund. The manufacturer just offered to replace the little plastic pieces instead of refunding us. After a several days, Wayfair agreed to a refund but we had to ship the broken tents back. This is a very large 12x12 canopy with a wheeled bag. I missed the fact that it came with a wheeled bag and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The setup is easy and my only two criticisms are the placement of the Velcro straps on the frame, and the size of the bag. The straps end up looped directly over the hinges on every single one (see photos) so make them loose when you’re setting up the canopy. The bag it comes with barely fits this larger canopy and there is zero extra room if you want to add on the side walls later. I’ll probably get a larger bag. I was pleasantly surprised with this 10’ x 20’ steel pop up canopy. It arrived nicely packed in its own black storage bag that has wheels. Even though the bag has 2 wheels, this is very heavy and you may need 2 people to lift and move it (or 1 very strong person). The instructions are not very clear, but luckily our neighbors have a canopy similar to this one and helped us assemble it. The steel portion of the canopy is one piece and pulls apart easily (like an accordion). We ended up needing 4 people to pull the steel portion apart to spread it fully out by each corner. You then have to put the canopy fabric top on before raising each leg up. Raising the tent legs was challenging and needed 2 people per leg to do. Once we got it raised up, the rest of the assembly was easy to do. The fabric top and side panels attach to the steel rods by Velcro and the bottom sections hook at each leg. If you use the side panels you can open and close a small window portion for ventilation. The inside section of the fabric top has a reflective type material and it really helped keep the sun and heat out. The canopy also comes with ground stakes to keep it from flying away. If you plan on using this on a hard ground, I advise you buy some sand bags or bricks to keep it in place. Breakdown was easy and everything fit right back into the storage bag. Just keep in mind that this is not a 1 person assembly. Overall, I am pleased with this pop up canopy and look forward to using it for our next party.. Lyn. Miami, FL. Sat Apr 12 2025
