I'm very happy with these pendant lights. I have a very big kitchen island (about 12 ft long and 4 ft wide) and have 3 of these pendants hanging over the island. The stainless steel finish looks great with my stainless steel appliances. They give off lots of light - I've only got 60 watt bulbs in them and they are still bright - I can't imagine how bright it would be with 150 watt! They are painted white on the interior, but that isn't noticeable, and probably helps with the brightness. The bulb does show a little bit under the shade, which I thought would bother me, but after a week, I don't notice it at all. As other reviews have mentioned, they are surprisingly thin metal, but once they are hanging, you can't tell. One of the pendants came with the metal bracket at the top of the shade bent - we bent it back into shape, but it took some time to get it to attach to the rest of the fixture correctly and to get it to hang straight. I installed these myself - they aren't that hard to do - just like most light fixtures, they have their own quirks, but I found the install to be about average, though the directions were TERRIBLE. These are beautiful. Make sure you have right bulbs before hanging them. I bough these because they said max hanging height was 72”. They only gave extensions for 66”. Had to get another extension rod and reinstall but in end the product is just what I wanted. I love the look of these fixtures. I had my eye on another one but it was hand blown and way out of my budget. You get the same look with this fixture for less . If you look closely you can see the seams in the glass but once the fixtures are up you don’t notice it. I had an issue with parts missing but Wayfair’s customer service was awesome and fixed it right away with the manufacturer. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the shade sits pretty loosely on the socket and it’s a little difficult to get it centered correctly. These lights are beautiful and I really love Wayfair selections. I purchased them a while back and had the electrician put them up a few days ago before patching and painting the entire kitchen. Doing a total gutting and remodeling but electric work is not my forté! They are as described regarding the look in general. I think I could have installed them in myself they look fairly easy to put in. You have two choices in length. I went with the longer length so they wouldn’t look so silly hanging from the ceiling. They should be fairly easy to remove when patching and painting the ceiling now. The only negative thing I could say about the lights is the etching on the platemounting itself. The picture display does not have any writing but when these were put up, I did notice etching labeled “KICHLER.” Hoping maybe Wayfair can find similar plated to replace the ones that have writing.
