This chandelier is beautiful and truly makes my space look better. But if you are trying to be a better person and quit cussing, or unless you have a mechanical engineering degree or are an electrician with extra time on your hands, do not buy this chandelier. The FULL assembly needed was over the top difficult. Fortunately, my husband has built classic cars and worked with electrical wiring, so we were able to assemble it in a matter of 4 to 5 hours together. The instructions were not complete for all of the stages of assembly. But in the end, we are enjoying it. You should also know that the base of the bulbs is a European size, and no home improvement stores or hardware stores here carry replacement bulbs. I ordered this chandelier for my dining room & thought it was lovely, but ended up returning it. The finish is definitely a silver tone; no gold hue whatsoever. While that's noted in the description, some of the pictures gave it a bit of an antique gold tone which is what I was going for. My husband didn't even pull the entire chandelier out of the box because we knew it wouldn't work.
