If you were wanting to use it as a table, I would recommend using a riser underneath to lift it off the floor, even like to round cylinder outdoor tables that are maybe 20 inches tall would look cute and some plants underneath I do give it a five star rating and I highly recommend for purchase. This is a fantastic fire pit and a really great value. I saw similar styles for $1000 and feel the look and function of this one is very similar and just as good. The tank cover is a nice addition and also serves as a side table. Set up was quick and easy. It gives off a good amount of heat. The color says black but I would call it more slate which I really like. The cover for the flame area is also a nice feature as you can then use it as a table. We love it! It took a bit of time to assemble and convert to gas vs propane (mainly because we had never done it before). It did come with all of the parts needed to convert to gas.
