I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. The ribbed texture and two toned design are my favorite thing. It makes the dishes look very modern and distinct. This is exactly what we needed - the bowls are beautifully crafted. However, they are slightly larger than I would have preferred, and I was initially concerned they wouldn't fit well in our cabinets. Nonetheless, we managed to make it work. Similarly, I had reservations about the dishwasher taking up too much space, but it turned out to be functional. Despite this, the size of the bowls remains a challenge. Very study stoneware plates and bowls. Simple and beautiful design that can be used for normal everyday use as well as dressed up for formal dining. The polished rims really look nice in person and dress up the dish set. Love the “lip” around the edge - allowing better management of the food on the plate from the edge.
