First, the positive comments: the table was a pleasant surprise in that it is more white than depicted in the photos. It is a sturdy table and the extension insert is easy ro put together, even though I am a senior citizen, with spine injuries. I did it myself. Many compliments were received. The negative part is that it arrived broken. The customer service was most helpful and we resolved the issue. Appearance I’ll be honest I don’t LOVE the finish, it looks white and chalky over rustic, the wood is kind of pinky. The finish cheapens the look of the table. The underside is almost prettier to me. But it has grown on me, it will look great with white upholstered chairs. I am still happy with it. But not in love with it. I did size up because the reviews said the small table looked flimsy next to the chunky legs. Mine is 84 inches long. The shape of the table is timeless and stunning. I love this table because it is a little more narrow than the standard dining table, and I love the fact that you can add or take away the leaf that is included! The table is very sturdy and feels very well built. The color is a rich golden hue, so it definitely pulls a little more of an ochre tone, which worked perfectly in my clients space. Mostly, I love that it’s not very wide because in this space we added a second dining area, so the narrowness of this really helped with the floor plan and space planning.
