The large wooden feeder has a few design flaws. The acrylic windows doesnt stay in place and the wood is very thin and the screws became stripped and wouldnt tighten. The tracks for the windows doesnt line up well and made it difficult to slide the windows in place. Its not as sturdy as I hoped and am worry that it will fall apart once seeds are placed in and birds try to come eat. Its a nice concept but it does fall short of the mark. I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law who are moving to several acres. Mosquitoes are always a problem, so hoping the Martin's come to live there. Because they have not moved and it is winter, the birdhouse remains in the box. They were thrilled to receive the birdhouse! It did get delivered a few days ahead of schedule and in good shape.
