After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. This desk is stunning. It was so easy to put together. The desktop came with the drawers built and installed and all we had to do was screw on the legs. The desk is a great addition to our women's locker room remodel at a private country club. I had ordered it to be delivered fully put together and placed in the correct place, but it was just dropped off in the crate it was shipped in and needed assembled. That is my only issue.. The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. Cute desk. Took several hours to assemble. I wish the instruction would have descriptions rather than just pictures. Don't use power tools. The hardest part to follow was the railings for the drawers, I got some of them backwards and had to fix when I got to the drawer assembly.
