This encasement just glided down the length of my 18" Serta high top mattress like a super soft silk slip, so that was my first happy moment. I've slept on the encasement for about one week now, and I'm very pleased as it is indeed a)noiseless b) moisture wicking. It feels very well, with a bit of leeway around the mattress, but not so much that it slides around. Best of all, I'm truly enjoying the sensation of a deep restful sleep, and actually feeling the full comfort of my mattress through the softness of the encasement material. Bedgear's packaging of this product seems environmentally friendly as well: a simple, reusable zip case and a branded shipping box.
