Just perfection, I love it. I have been looking a several different lights for our side room. I wanted something big and bold but not bulky, also something classic I would still like down the road. Found it! I would say it was a little more difficult to install than the steps made it seem. My husband knows electric and still took us about an hour. I added a larger base at the top that I got somewhere else. It goes under the base of the light to add some more dimension. I really love it so much. The price was incredible, I did lots of research on chandler’s and I still can’t believe how good the price point is (look out for a sale too) The black is a true matte black, I used 40 watt chandler bulbs as they said that’s the highest you can go and it’s nice and bright. Absolutely beautiful chandelier. Some of the metal rings for the bulb openings were screwed on too tight so the rubber gasket was squeezing out, so we had to carefully unscrew them and place them place them back. This chandelier was perfect for the look Im trying to create in the dining room! It was very easy to hang, but you do have to do a bit of wiring yourself. Im also installing a dimmer because the LED candelabra bulbs are a tad bright, which isnt a bad thing. If youre not comfortable wiring it yourself, you may want to get somebody who knows what theyre doing to help. The adjustable chain is great and we cant wait for the whole room to come together with this solid dining room light at the center.
