At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. Pretty straightforward with the wiring. The stained glass is pretty but the fixture is quite small. I need to get a different bulb because the only extra one I have right now is too long and dips below the edge of the fixture. I received my parrot lamp and I am ECSTATIC! I have waited SO long to get it and I finally was able to! It is SO much prettier in person and a LOT bigger than I anticipated. Please be sure to double check measurements. Its fine for us, because I would build a whole new house just to have it!!! Its just that perfect. I cannot say enough good things about it. We have not mounted it yet. as now we will have to change out a light to put it there but the quality is just amazing. There is a hole beneath their beaks to allow for additional light to get out and you can feel the quality of the light. There are no bulbs that come with it but a standard bulb will do.
