This is the first year for an above-ground pool an needed a vacuum for it. I was looking for one that was very portable and easy to use. This one fits the bill! It does a fabulous job sucking up debris on the bottom! I use the sock filter for it and it is amazing how much it picks up. When I'm finished vacuuming he sock filter is usually very green! Item arrived timely and undamaged. I had just had my pool tile cleaned and was looking for ways to help keep the water clean. This item caught my eye so I thought I would try it. It floats quietly all day in the sun so it gets plenty of ‘power’ to ionize. It is worth mentioning that the copper rod will patina as it cleans, as you can see in second photo, so frequent cleaning of the copper rod is essential.
